Tail munching help

Post by silverrabbit on Wed 4 Aug 2010 - 1:23

Just wondering if you think it'd be too stressful to have Huey my FT muncher living next to a female full-time? I moved a girl next door after he got bored of the ping pong ball and started biting again Suspect and it seems to be distracting him enough that I see some regrowth in the missing parts.

He's enjoying showing off and blowing bubbles, but will this stress out the girl? Like will she get into eggy mode all the time? scratch

She may well get eggy, but as long as she releases them she will be fine. You could try adding some plants on her side next to the partition as this may obstruct her view. The male will still pick up on her movements though.

Thanks Smile she has a "wall" of vallis along the divider so i'm hoping it won't bug her too much. It's amusing to watch as I think she likes him - she floats in one spot with her nose through the divider squares, looking at him and when he comes over she shimmies around lol!

Most of my boys can now see each other. They sometimes have a little flare but it seems to keep them amused.

He currently looks very smitten - builing a lovely nest for his new tank buddy
