Well i know ive said it a few times but i think this pair could spawn any day now. The male has spent pretty much all the last 2 days in the slate cave cleaning it out and defending it so it looks promising.

Ahah.
Well belive it or not i just looked at the tank and theres eggs. He must have been guarding them but doing a bad job. I removed them because theres a hungry banjo catfish in there. But now its just a waiting game to see if there albinos or browns.

Same. They look like a big lot though. The albino looks alot skinnier but because its so big im wondering if its both of them.

There now in the breeding trap with a small filter with the intakes covered in tights blowing them into the corner so they have good flow. I left a few eggs with the male and typically since i took the others hes protecting them really well now so i feel a bi bad for taking them. Its weird hes normally great at looking after them but this time he just kept leaving the cave.

Well they should hatch out sometime tomorrow or maybe even tonight depending on when they where laid. All the ones i left in the tank got eaten because he just left them. I hope hes not like this when they go in the 150G or ill never get any fry because they will be munched in seconds.

Ive moved them all into a 10G of there own because they didnt seem to be hatching to well and i think it might have been because of the poor current in the breeding trap even though i had a small filter in there. They seem to be doing better now.
