aqueon filter

does anyone here have any experience with the aqueon filters? the 55 gallon tank i just got came with an aqueon 55 filter. i have only ever had tetra filters so im wondering if this will be a good filter or not. thank!!

they have them at tims work and his coworkers seem pleased with them. I have 1 on the big tank and it seems to work fine, I like the fact that the modle I have the moter is down in the water and can restart itself without priming.

aqueon power filter 55. the one i have is like newfishy's with the motor in the water.

The Aqeuon filters work pretty good actually. i use a smaller version though, jus a 3 gallon and its quiet and primes its self which is awesome! they are easy to take care of and ive never had a fail since ive had it and the water stays crystal clear. The only concern i had really was if my betta has trouble swimming but hes seem fine with it...hope this helps any Smile

it does, thank you!! it has a strong current but thats ok since it is in the 55 gal with danios and snails atm. im liking it so far!
