Netty has 2 in her tank with the Cories. The 2 she has are very active with the light on, which is unusual. They're pretty bomb proof too....ours went through a filter crash.

nice tall bushy plants like wisteria encourage them to perch like birds during the day so you can see them. Also tablet food by aquarian that stick to the side of tank, they adore this food and will come out at feeding time with your other fish. pretty good thing to see.

I have both on these on my website lol

I wasn't keen on them until I got a couple. They are really neat little things and always out and about :D

I had never seen khulis in the lfs until about a month ago when there was one in a tank with flying fox's. I went to the lfs on tuesday and they had about 100 really fat ones so I had to buy 3, only cost me a fiver.

The 2 i origanally had are bulky but the 4 new ones are like little worms really thin. Mine were £1.95 each Smile Any one heard of the Jumbo Khuli? we have one at work and hes about 4 - 5 inches long.

gaint khuli are available and tend to be the bronze or black versions. Get to about 6-8 inches long and really really really fat , look like skinny weather loaches. :D

They sound lovely (and as always tempted) but doubt they would fit in any of my tanks happily, plus lots of rough gravel, then again am thinking of replacing as have spare coral sand from big tank and it looks loads nicer!

The tank mine are in has just the normal gravel. I know its not ideal for them but i have a lot of cover and hiding places in their for my plecos so they seem very happy hiding under logs and plants. They also as Daz mentioned like to spend alot of their time in amoungst plants, so they dont nesserserily (spelling?) need a substrate like sand. Just my opinion after keeping them for a while :D

The tank is 3ft. the 2 on their own did fine together, they were together in my tank for about 6 months together. i wasnt really on the look out for any more, i just happened to see them in my lfs that never has them in so i took all 4 stripey ones. Yeahh they do look great together they all inter-tangle with each other :D the new ones are soo small compared to the origanal 2, but they should soon grow.
